Paris FW Spring/Summer 2011

Hi!
It looks like I am the last blogger to post about Paris Fashion Week S/S 2011. Whatever, I still want to show you the best collections and add my opinion. Here we go.

Alexander McQueen
I think Sarah Burton did a great job on this collection - she kept the unique essence and style but she will have to work hard to continue with what McQueen created.
Ann Demeulemeester
Black, white, black, white...I love the leather dresses and pants and also model´s makeup.
 Balenciaga
This collection made a pretty big impression on me. I like those dresses, blouses and the way each look is styled.
 Gareth Pugh
Okay, so I already made a post about this (the eleven minute long video - designer´s presentation) but you have to see those designs in pictures as well. Those clean cuts, shapes and oh, the armor thing going on is super cool as well.
 Jean Paul Gaultier
I am not totally into Gaultier but this collection is a lot of fun. The Bowie inspiration is so lovely and shoulder pads are great too!
 John Galliano
Beautiful as always, piece of art as always, very delicate. I like those prints but my favorite look is first row the picture right in the middle.
 Louis Vuitton
I kinda felt in love with this geisha collection. I guess it has already been done but the color choices are absolutely amazing.
 Nicolas Andreas Taralis
You know I love - black color, sheer materials, leather...so this was a must to show you guys.
 Pedro Lourenço
One of my absolute favorites, I guess. The futuristic look (which I simply love) and those perfect cuts make this collection so special.
 Rick Owens
Something I really liked was the layering of clothes and the makeup for models.
 Vivienne Westwood
I couldn´t just skip Westwood´s collection! It is always such a joy to watch all the designs coming down the runway. She is brilliant in mixing crazy patterns and different fabrics together.

Blog Crush #1

 Hey everyone,
I am happy to show you my blog/girl crush - Maja, 14 years old girl from Denmark. Her fashion taste is very unique, I bet it´s because of her amazing vintage treasures which she combines with modern stuff. She doesn´t like defining her style though she says it is "simple, personal and very mixed". We share the same passion for Acne Atacomas except she actually owns them!
What/Who inspires your outfits...
Maja: People in the streets!
The most stylish person right now...
M: Alexa Chung, Kate Moss, Elin Kling... The list goes on and on!
Favorite place/places to shop...
M: My favorite 2hand/vintage stores in Copenhagen are Kongens Klær', København K, The Second Way and then I love Acne, H&M and Urban Outfitters.
Favorite piece of clothing you own...
M: My Acne Atacomas or my black 2hand jacket from Kongens Klær'.
A piece of clothing you would like to own...
M: Acne Admires!

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 Favorites

Acne
You all know I am a huge sucker for Acne clothes. This collection is the perfection of simplicity, clean cuts and a bit of grunge style. Those geisha-inspired shoes blew me away, I want to wear them during summer!
Louise Gray
Prints, dots, stripes, colors...etc. I can´t believe it looks so good mixed together!

 Meadham Kirchhoff
Completely stunning! Sheer fabrics, tie-dyed clothes and baby doll dresses. Yum!
 Topshop Unique
I know, I already talked about this show previously so just a quick recap: super-awesome prints, beautiful long skirts, those boots(!), the best blazers/jackets and oh, the hair and makeup ♥

New York FW Spring/Summer 2011

Hey babes,
I know, I am a little late but I still wanted to show you my favorites from NYC FW Spring/Summer 2011 (London, Paris, etc. will come later).
How did you spend your weekend?

Alexander Wang
Oh, what happened, no black color? I really like it anyways. Those metallic jackets are to die for. The only thing I don´t like is the makeup! Why are the model´s faces looking so shiny?

Proenza Shouler
Some of the designs are too lady-like for me but I just felt in love with this collection somehow ♥

RAD by Rad Hourani
Perfection! I am a huge fan of all futuristic looks! Oh, and I love how both models are wearing the same thing.

Rag&Bone
I guess this is #1 for me. Those prints, sheer fabrics, metallics and wonderfully cut shapes.

Memories?

Hi darlings,
I am freakin´ nervous because I am going to be in TV tomorrow (you know those stupid talent searching shows, right?). I am going to do dance performance and it will be streamed live :( I just want to get it over with! Oh, and these three photos were taken on my friend´s old film camera (they are actually from an oldish photoshoot). My favorite is the second one and I have no idea how those two pics mixed up but I love it ♥
