Current obsession.

First of all, let me apologize for the quality of these pictures - they were shot with an Iphone because my camera is broken. I was so impressed by this book I just had to share my excitement even though it meant crappy pics. This book is called The Atlas of Remote Islands by Judith Schalansky. She wrote about 50 islands which are more or less unknown, usually not even seen on regular maps and in atlases. There are two pages dedicated to each island. On the first page there is a map of the island and the second page tells the reader the island´s history supported with scientific facts. Overall it is a very interesting and beautifully designed book. Definitely worth a buy if you are into travelling although you would probably never visit these places.

Na úvod by som sa chcela ospravedlniť za kvalitu týchto obrázkov - boli fotené Iphone-om pretože môj foťák je pokazený. Táto kniha však na mňa urobila veľký dojem a preto som sa rozhodla s vami podeliť o moje nadšenie, aj keď to znamená nanič fotky. Kniha sa volá Atlas odlehlých ostrovů od Judith Schalansky. Judith, napísala o 50 ostrovoch, ktoré sú viac-menej neznáme, zvyčajne ani nie sú zaznačené na obyčajných mapách a v atlasoch. Každému ostrovu je venovaná dvojstránka. Na jednej strane je mapa ostrovu a na tej druhej nájdete históriu ostrovu podloženú vedeckými faktami. Celkovo je to veľmi zaujímavá a krásne spracovaná kniha. Určite stojí za to kúpiť si ju ak vás zaujíma cestovanie aj keď pravdepodobne nikdy nenavštívite tieto miesta.

Current obsession.

This is probably the most interesting nail polish I own. It´s called Wawawoom by H&M. It would fit perfectly to the mini collection of new Chanel nail polishes, which I am very much in love with.

Amsterdam.

Tieto jesenné prázdniny som sa vybrala do Amsterdamu a musím priznať, že je to krásne mesto a chcem sa tam vrátiť čo najskôr. Každá budova sa mi zdala nádherná, niečím výnimočná a sú tam vynikajúce dobroty. Tiež som sa zaľúbila do jedného obchodu The Otherist - fotka sa veľmi nevydarila tak si aspoň pozrite web page. Išla som aj na jednodňový výlet ku moru do obce Zantvoort, kde si mi tiež páčilo, len počasie trochu nevyšlo.
