Paris FW Spring/Summer 2011

Hi!
It looks like I am the last blogger to post about Paris Fashion Week S/S 2011. Whatever, I still want to show you the best collections and add my opinion. Here we go.

Alexander McQueen
I think Sarah Burton did a great job on this collection - she kept the unique essence and style but she will have to work hard to continue with what McQueen created.
Ann Demeulemeester
Black, white, black, white...I love the leather dresses and pants and also model´s makeup.
 Balenciaga
This collection made a pretty big impression on me. I like those dresses, blouses and the way each look is styled.
 Gareth Pugh
Okay, so I already made a post about this (the eleven minute long video - designer´s presentation) but you have to see those designs in pictures as well. Those clean cuts, shapes and oh, the armor thing going on is super cool as well.
 Jean Paul Gaultier
I am not totally into Gaultier but this collection is a lot of fun. The Bowie inspiration is so lovely and shoulder pads are great too!
 John Galliano
Beautiful as always, piece of art as always, very delicate. I like those prints but my favorite look is first row the picture right in the middle.
 Louis Vuitton
I kinda felt in love with this geisha collection. I guess it has already been done but the color choices are absolutely amazing.
 Nicolas Andreas Taralis
You know I love - black color, sheer materials, leather...so this was a must to show you guys.
 Pedro Lourenço
One of my absolute favorites, I guess. The futuristic look (which I simply love) and those perfect cuts make this collection so special.
 Rick Owens
Something I really liked was the layering of clothes and the makeup for models.
 Vivienne Westwood
I couldn´t just skip Westwood´s collection! It is always such a joy to watch all the designs coming down the runway. She is brilliant in mixing crazy patterns and different fabrics together.
